At The Jug we always want to treat everybody fairly, issues they had elsewhere were never our problem.. people are treated with the respect they give.

Unfortunately Newcastle seems to have an issue where there are a small minority who think it is their right to be fighting and aggressive wherever they go .. So we have no option but to make a change to our policy.

From this point on, if you are on pubwatch, you are also excluded from The Jug.

It's a sad sad day when we have to make this decision, but we have no choice but to make this decision before somebody gets hurt.

So, if you are reading this and suspect you are on pubwatch, please know that you will be asked to leave and refused service from this point on - save yourself the walk.

We are a fun venue with lovely customers, and in general trouble free, and it needs to remain that way.
