WE’RE HIRING 🍺☕️

Hi guys. I’m looking for around 4 new members of staff to join my team.

18 plus only please. 🔞🔞

The job will be available from around November and offers around 12+ hours per week . Please don’t apply if you’re just after the odd shift.

Must be:
- reliable
- hard working
- flexible (you will not need to do the splits)
- barista experience is preferred
- bar experience not essential but would be great
- confident and friendly
- quick learner
- able to get to newbiggin & surrounding areas

It’s our birthday!🎈

8 years since The Ink Spot opened its doors, 1 whole year since me & Mark took the reins🍾

8 years ago my mum opened the doors to this little pub and I started working behind the bar. The pub has been through a few chapters since then , from my mum and stepdad, to Steve and Neona taking the reins, to now me and Mark getting to call it ours, we are super grateful for all the help thats made The Ink Spot what it is today.

Since taking over, I’ve worked incredibly hard to take the pub to places it’s never been before while still keeping the character and spirit that made it special in the first place. None of it would have been possible without my amazing partner Mark who I love dearly. Thank you so much for all the help and support you give me on a daily basis to make our pub what it is 🖤

Whether you’ve been with us since my mum first opened the doors, joined us along the way, or have only recently found us, you’ve all played a part in making this place what it is. The support, the laughs, the conversations, the celebrations and the friendships mean more to me than you probably realise.

Thank you for continuing to support us, for believing in what we’re doing and for making all the hard work worthwhile. A pub is nothing without the people who walk through its doors, and we’re incredibly lucky to have the customers and friends that we do.

So here’s to 8 years of great b**r at The Ink Spot, 1 year of us and hopefully many more to come 🖤

Thanks so much to everyone who came to our fundraiser night for Newcastle Dog & Cat Shelter. We raised an amazing £280 that night! I’ve doubled that myself to make the total £560 to donate for all the cats and dogs in need. Also called into jollyes on the way down and purchased £220 worth of supplies, collars, leads, treats, toys, beds etc. These guys do amazing work and we were so excited to drop off the donations today! 🖤🐶🐱
