What a wonderful evening we all had on Saturday.
Thank you for choosing us to host your meal.
See you again next year!

✨ What a night of Italian opera, passion and unforgettable music! 🇮🇹🎶

Despite the torrential rain, you came out in wonderful numbers for our very first Italian Opera Gala—and your warmth filled the evening with magic.

Sara Guidi and Joe Spratt delivered outstanding performances, accompanied beautifully by Guy Murgatroyd on piano. Every aria, every note and every moment made the evening truly special.

A huge thank you to my brother, Paul, for presenting the event and helping everything flow so smoothly.

We’ve been delighted by your lovely comments and generous feedback. Hearing how much you enjoyed the performances, atmosphere and overall experience has meant so much.

Our heartfelt thanks go to our main sponsor, Andrew Smith and Son Fine Art and Auctioneers, and our community sponsor, Walkers Gentlemen's Barbers, for their generous support.

We’re also incredibly grateful to the Swan Hotel for providing such a beautiful setting and a delicious meal, adding even more sparkle to the evening.

Most of all, thank you to every guest who braved the weather and helped create such a warm, joyful atmosphere. Your enthusiasm and support made this first gala one to remember.

It was a pleasure to bring the beauty and drama of Italian opera to our local community.

Here’s to many more unforgettable evenings together! 🥂❤️

A little behind-the-scenes coffee inspiration!

We had a lovely visit to River Coffee Roasters, who supply the coffee we proudly serve at the hotel!

It was fantastic to learn more about the roasting process, discover the passion behind every cup, and meet the people who help bring great coffee to our guests every day.

A big thank you to Will and the team at River Coffee Roasters for the warm welcome — we’re proud to serve your coffee! 🙌
