Coming back this Sunday, a Barn favourite, Aupa. Stunning smash burgers with the best flavours.

Things are changing up for the winter in the barn so Sunday is your last pop up for a while, get yourself down and grab a delicious burger and drink.

Book Club at The Barn on The Bay | Wednesday 28 October from 7.30pm

We’re welcoming author Helen Aitchison to The Barn tomorrow night for an evening of books, conversation and a catch-up around the fire.

Haven’t read the book? Come anyway! Helen will be chatting about her writing and upcoming projects, and as we’re reading another of her books next month, there’s plenty of time to catch up.

The bar will be open, the fire pits will be lit and everyone is welcome, whether you’ve been before or fancy coming along for the first time.

Barn opens 7.30pm | Discussion starts 8.30pm

It’s completely free to join us, but please book a ticket (link is in bio) so we can save you a space.

With Storm Austen on the way it’s not safe for our planned food truck to get here on Sunday so there won’t be the usual hot food on.

Don’t worry though, we’ll still have plenty of cakes, pastries (we’ve stocked up!) and hot drinks for you hardy walkers who come out in all weather.

Remember that we’re an old cowshed to wrap up warm, and if you’re coming to do the Wild & Unwind Pilates session with Røam bring a few layers although we’re sure Danni will have you warmed up in no time!

See you Sunday - we’ll be closing a little earlier at 3pm now we’re into autumn and darker nights.

SAUSAGE WEEK IS BACK

Our sausages have become a bit legendary at The Barn on The Bay. Our team go absolutely wild for them and have even been known to fight over them.

Not naming names… but Emily and Sasha, we’re looking at you!

OUR SAUSAGES ARE A BIT LEGENDARY…

If you’ve eaten at The Barn, you’ll know our sausages have developed quite a reputation. In fact, they’re one of the things we’re asked about most!

So, with Oktoberfest in full swing, we thought it was about time we gave them their very own celebration this weekend.

Introducing SMOKESIDE SAUSAGE FEST, this Sunday at The Barn on The Bay!

We’ve put together a special menu celebrating everything we love about a proper sausage, from spicy, smoky Texas hot links to Austrian Käsekrainers stuffed with melting Swiss cheese, and a good old-fashioned Cumberland with all the trimmings.

There’s a plant-based option too, along with some rather special homemade sausage rolls.

And because you can’t have an Oktoberfest-inspired celebration without b**r, we’re offering half-price pints when you order any sausage main.

Whether you’re joining us after a walk on the beach or coming especially for the food, settle in, grab a pint and enjoy a proper Sunday at The Barn.

THE CHICKEN EDITION IS BACK FOR ANOTHER WEEK!

It went down so well last week that we’re bringing the Chicken Edition back for one more Sunday.

Serving 12–2.30pm, this will be your last chance to try this Smokeside Edition this year, before Chef Dan switches things up and we move into our new seasonal menu next week.

But Sundays at The Barn on The Bay are about much more than lunch. Come down to the farm, grab a coffee, take a wander to the beach, bring the dog, meet friends, settle in for something good to eat and stay for a drink at the bar.

No rush, no need to dress up — just an easy Sunday by the Bay.

And while our summer Sundays might be changing, we’re definitely not disappearing for winter. We’ve got news coming very soon about new seasonal food, more days at the Barn and extended winter opening times.

It’s the Fried Chicken Edition this Sunday. Around for one weekend only!

Crispy chicken. Soft brioche. Properly loaded. Absolutely no sensible way to eat it. 🍗

This Sunday’s Smokeside Fried Chicken Edition has four buns on the menu:

Bacon Jam Chicken
Frank’s Hot Chicken 🌶️
Hot Honey & Halloumi Chicken
Pulled BBQ Jackfruit 🌱

£13 each, served with chicken salt fries or house-seasoned fries.

Plus sticky BBQ pork ribs, Londoner sausage burnt ends, corn ribs and all the good stuff on the side.
