❤️ 22 LOCAL JOBS, OVER 900 LOYALTY MEMBERS AND NEARLY THREE MONTHS OF TASTE OF NORTHUMBERLAND! ❤️
On 13th November, we’ll have been open for three months although, if I’m being honest, it already feels like years! 😂
As we approach this milestone, I’m incredibly proud to share that, thanks to your fantastic support, we now employ 22 local people here at Taste of Northumberland! 👏
Reopening and renovating a building that had been boarded up, breathing new life into it and launching a completely new business during challenging economic times was never going to be easy.
It’s taken a huge amount of hard work, investment, determination and more than a few sleepless nights, but seeing what we’ve achieved in such a short space of time makes it all worthwhile.
What was once a closed and empty building is now a busy restaurant, bar, village shop and accommodation, creating local jobs, supporting local suppliers and welcoming customers from near and far.
❤️ We’ve also welcomed over 900 customers to our loyalty programme!
That’s something we’re particularly pleased about. Our loyalty scheme is our way of giving something back, with discounts, rewards and benefits for the people who continue to support us. Saying thank you to our customers whenever we can is really important to us.
We’re also incredibly proud to be working with so many fantastic local suppliers, helping to showcase the wonderful food, drink and produce Northumberland has to offer.
Of course, opening a new business isn’t without its challenges. We’re still learning, adapting and improving every day, and we know there will always be things we can do better.
But one thing is certain we couldn’t have got this far without you.
To our brilliant team of 22, who work so hard every day, our local suppliers, our regular customers and everyone who has visited us since opening on 13th August, a massive THANK YOU! ❤️
It’s fantastic to see a once-boarded-up building brought back to life and making a positive contribution to Broomhill and the surrounding communities.
Three months, 22 local jobs, over 900 loyalty members and countless new friendships made along the way.
We’re proud of what we’ve achieved, grateful for your continued support and excited about what lies ahead.
