🤍 AND NOW… IT’S OURS. 🤍

Well… after weeks of plans, paperwork, conversations, excitement, stress, and the occasional “what the hell are we doing?” moment…

The Birdcage is officially ours. 🐦🥂

Yesterday was a very long day — but one we’ll never forget. We’re incredibly excited (and slightly terrified 😂) to take the reins and begin our own chapter at The Birdcage.

We want to say a huge thank you to Carl, Vicki, Rachel and the team for everything they’ve built here and for making the handover such a smooth one. We know how much The Birdcage means to the people who have spent time here, and we’re looking forward to getting to know all of you.

To everyone who has supported The Birdcage over the years — we’re looking forward to meeting you, hearing your stories, and hopefully giving you plenty more memories to add to them. ❤️

And just to reassure everyone with plans already in the diary — all existing bookings and deposits are being honoured, and your celebrations, meals and events will go ahead as planned. 🥂❤️

And to everyone who hasn’t been in yet…

What are you waiting for? 👀

The Birdcage is still The Birdcage — but now it’s our turn to put our stamp on it.

There are already lots of plans, ideas and a few slightly bonkers things in the pipeline. We’ll be sharing them with you very soon.

For now, though…

Cheers to new beginnings, new adventures, and one very tired pair of new pub owners. 😂🥂

🤍 THE END OF AN ERA… AND THE BEGINNING OF A NEW CHAPTER 🤍

After an unforgettable journey, we can officially announce that The Birdcage is now sold and we are moving on to pastures new.

The Birdcage has brought us so much happiness and so many incredible memories. We truly hope it brings its new owners just as much happiness as it has brought us, and we wish them every success with their exciting new chapter.

To every single customer who has walked through our doors, celebrated with us, supported us and remained loyal along the way a HUGE thank you. Your support has meant more to us than we could ever put into words, and The Birdcage wouldn’t have been the same without you. 🩷

All of the existing booking’s and deposits have been transferred over to the new owners who will be taking care of them following the handover. If you have any questions about an upcoming booking, please contact The Birdcage directly.

It’s certainly not goodbye… the three musketeers are together again in Stockton at The Olive Branch and The Songbird, ready for our next adventure! 🥂
