The Stag & Hounds opens on 1st October, from 5.30pm onwards!

My wife Rani and I would love you to join us for our opening night, with complimentary drinks and nibbles on us to celebrate.

For those we haven’t met yet, we’re Kumar and Rani from Berkeley Arms, Wymondham. We’re so excited to welcome you, introduce you to our colleagues and get to know you all.

There’s still more we’d like to do, and we’ll carry on making improvements as we go. But this beautiful pub has already been closed for over two years, and we don’t want our locals to wait any longer to enjoy their village pub again.

Thank you for all your support and encouragement. Come along, say hello and raise a glass with us—we can’t wait to open the doors!

We’ve got plenty of spare glasses, and a bottle fridge as well and we’d love to see them put to good use.

If you’d like some for your home, garden bar, man cave or even your own pub, you’re welcome to have them free of charge.

Can anyone local help with a rubbish clearance at the Stag & Hounds, Burrough on the Hill, please?

We have old pallets, timber, dismantled units and other refurbishment waste that needs clearing as soon as possible as we get ready to reopen.

Our mate Fyl, the man behind the electrics!

Fyl looks after us Berkeley Arms, Wymondham and now he’s busy here at The Stag and Hounds, putting in new electrical lines and helping get everything ready for opening day.

There’s plenty happening behind the scenes, and having good people like Fyl working alongside us makes all the difference. Thank you, mate—we really appreciate your hard work!

It’s all go, go, go at The Stag & Hounds!

What a busy day and it’s shaping up to be an even busier week! The new kitchen is being fitted, improvements are underway in the ladies’ toilets, furniture is arriving, and our new walk-in fridge unit is going in.

From tomorrow, work also begins on our new bar, along with the installation of a new beer python and brand-new beer lines making sure every pint will be served just as it should be!

There’s so much happening behind the scenes, with everyone working incredibly hard to bring it all together. Every delivery, every improvement and every long day takes us another step closer.

We’re now closer than ever to opening our doors, and we honestly cannot wait to welcome you all to your village pub.

This is what true community spirit looks like.

A huge thank you to Baz and Jane for carefully restoring and repainting the original sign, and to Baz and his friends for giving their time to put it proudly back in its rightful place.

The kindness, friendship and support we’ve already received has been incredible. It makes us even more certain that the Stag & Hounds will once again become a great hub for the whole community a place for everyone to meet, laugh and make happy memories together.
