We would like to invite you to honour and celebrate the life of our vibrant and beautiful landlady Kate Walmsley.  
 
Kate’s funeral will be taking place at 11am on Thursday 28th May at Zion Methodist Church, Main Road, South Wingfield, DE55 7NH. 
 
We are anticipating a big turnout and as seating is limited within the church, please be aware that it is likely to be standing room only.  
 
Additionally, there is limited street parking outside the church, so we kindly ask that, where possible, you park at South Wingfield Social Club, High Road, South Wingfield, DE55 7LX. 
 
They have very kindly allowed us to use their car park, which is located a short five-minute walk away from the church. The barrier will be up, and they have asked that we please fill the car park from the back first.  
 
After the service, we would like to invite you all to join us at The Jug and Glass, Main Road, Lea, DE4 5GJ, for refreshments and to celebrate the wonderful life and legacy that Kate has left behind.  
 
To those of you who are unable to attend, we would love for you to share your memories of her and raise a glass in her honour. 
 
Many of you will remember Kate for her uncanny ability to always be the best dressed person in the room. Kate was glamorous to her very core, and she loved dressing up in a fabulous dress and her pearls. Kate’s wish was for everyone to be dressed up as glamorous as possible, so we ask that you dress in your finest to send her off in style.  
 
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Ashgate Hospice in memory of Kate. They showed such kindness and compassion to Kate and to everyone who loved her. The peace that they brought her in her final year is something that we will never be able to repay.

We are heartbroken to share the news that our beautiful, wonderful landlady Kate Walmsley passed away peacefully last night at Ashgate Hospice.

A deeply loved fiancé, daughter, sister, friend and much adored “aunt titty”. Kate was pure magic and her loss is immeasurable.

We will miss her forever ❤️
