We’re hiring: General Manager at The Bulls Head Marple.
If you know our current GM Oliver - dont worry, he's not going anywhere, he's taking on a slightly different role but will still be here with us :-)
We’re looking for a passionate, hands-on General Manager to lead the team here at The Bulls Head in Marple.
This can be a live-in or live-out role, with a salary of £36,000–£43,000 per year, depending on experience.
The Bulls Head is a well-established local pub known for great food, drinks, live music, events and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. We’ve also just built a fantastic new extension for small events, so it’s an exciting time to join us and help shape the next chapter of the pub.
We’re looking for someone who has experience in hospitality management, loves leading a team, takes pride in high standards, and knows how to create a great experience for guests.
You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day running of the pub, including:
Leading and supporting the team
Maintaining high food, drink and service standards
Helping grow events, live music and community hospitality
Managing stock, costs, budgets and reporting
Supporting recruitment, training and team development
Ensuring health, safety and licensing standards are met
We also have a sister pub, The Oakwood in Glossop, so occasional travel may be required to support the wider business.
