Today’s the day! 🎉
What an incredible achievement you are about to accomplish. 80 miles so far of determination, teamwork, sore feet, and sheer grit, you’re on the final stretch of an amazing journey for Cancer Research.
Every mile you’ve walked has helped raise awareness and vital funds for a cause that means so much to so many people. You should be incredibly proud of what you’ve achieved.
Keep putting one foot in front of the other—you are so close now! We are all thinking of you, cheering you on, and looking forward to celebrating with you as you cross that finishing line. The welcome, applause, and celebrations waiting for you are thoroughly deserved.
Good luck for these final miles. You’ve got this! 💪❤️🏅
🚨 WE MIGHT REGRET THIS… 🚨
In June, two slightly questionable decision makers are attempting this:
🥾 100 miles
📅 5 days
🏞 The Ridgeway
📍 Avebury ➜ Markyate
Why ………… Because cancer affects far too many families, including people close to us. 💜 So we’re walking every mile to raise money for cancer research.
We’re currently on Week 2 of training, and early discoveries include:
• 10 miles feels like 50
• Snacks are critical survival equipment 🍪
• Mrs Chegs walks like a superhero 🦸♀️
• Timmy G walks like he’s lost his car in a car park 😂
But we’re doing it anyway.

100 miles. 5 days. One very big challenge.
‘Step by step, heart by heart,
From the ancient trails we start,
Every mile a name, every stride a shout,
We’ll be walking this road to knock it out’
Lets do this - we ain’t scared 😱
