To our loyal customers,

As some of you know, the Cali is not reopening its doors today (July 4). The safety, comfort and enjoyment of our customers is our main concern. Even with the current restrictions, we don't feel it is practical or possible for us to reopen yet.

We'll continue to follow the latest government guidelines and we hope to welcome you all back soon, subject to a relaxation of the social distancing rules and an agreement with our brewery on a way forward.

To our customers - The Cali remains open as usual for the time being, but we are taking extra precautions with cleanliness to keep you all safe and healthy.

All pints will be priced at £3 as a temporary measure and we hope our loyal customers will continue to support us.
We will monitor the situation and all of the advice, and we will keep you updated.

(If you have a cough or persistent temperature, please do stay at home and we are advising against bodily contact as suggested by the government.)

Until a government direction is put in place, we will remain open with a heightened importance on maintaining good hygiene.

Announcement from Gerry

Hi everyone,
I wanted to let you know that Tina has decided that she wishes to pursue a new opportunity and has made the decision to resign from her role as Bar Manager at the Cali.

I know you will want to join me in acknowledging the contribution Tina has made to the Cali and I wish to place on record my heartfelt thanks to her for all her hard work in supporting the Cali and also me personally in running the Bar.

Tina will still be working locally and I have no doubt will still spend time with us all at the Cali though clearly on the other side of the counter, enjoying herself and relaxing!!!

It would be great if you can come along on Friday 27th March from 9pm for her leaving party,

I am currently in the process of appointing a replacement and I will keep you updated
