A POLITE BUT IMPORTANT CUSTOMER NOTICE
Over the past few months, we’ve invested a significant amount of our own money into transforming our beer garden into a space that everyone can enjoy! The Fox is somewhere to relax, unwind and enjoy those holiday vibes here at The Fox.
To be completely transparent, every improvement you see in the garden has been funded by us. The brewery has not invested a penny into the garden transformation. We have done this because we wanted to create something special for our customers and the local community.
Unfortunately, over the last few weeks we’ve noticed an increase in damage to the garden. This includes children climbing over the tops of the booths, damaging our flower wall and using furniture in ways it wasn’t designed for. We pride ourselves on being a family-friendly venue, but we kindly ask parents and guardians to ensure children are supervised and respectful so that everyone can enjoy the space safely.
We’d also like to remind customers that:
• Please use the ashtrays provided on the tables and around the garden. Flicking ash or cigarette ends onto the artificial grass damages the surface and creates unnecessary fire and cleaning risks.
• Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the garden pods. The upholstered seating can be permanently damaged by smoke, ash and burns, and we want to keep the pods clean and comfortable for everyone.
Our team will now be carrying out regular garden checks and, where necessary, will politely speak to anyone whose behaviour is causing damage or creating a safety concern.
This garden has been built for everyone to enjoy. With your support, respect and cooperation, we can keep it looking fantastic and ensure it remains a safe, welcoming space for families, friends and our whole community.
