This Monday, we’re introducing you to Charlie!

Charlie joined our kitchen team three months ago as one of our Kitchen Assistants, and he’s already making his mark. His ambition? Michelin level!

Favourite dish: Roast Sea Bass Fillet, served with prosciutto, artichokes & sauce vierge
Favourite drink: Guinness

When he’s not in the kitchen, Charlie is a man of many talents! He loves wild camping, rugby, football and pretty much any sport he can get involved in

We can’t wait to see what Charlie achieves — with that ambition, we’re sure there are some exciting things ahead!

The whole team at the Plough would like to wish a huge congratulations to our wonderful General Manager Rachel on her incredible 11 year anniversary with Brunning and Price.

Rachel has been such a huge part of our team over the years, bringing her passion, dedication and plenty of personality to everything she does. We really are so lucky to have her! ❤️

Thank you, Rachel, for all your hard work, commitment and for everything you do for the pub, our team and our lovely customers.

✨FRIENDLY FACE FRIDAY!✨

This week it’s time to introduce Tom, our Deputy Manager!

Tom has been with us for 2 years, and you’ll usually find him behind the bar, pint in hand… well, serving the pints anyway!

He’s our resident “happy to do whatever needs doing” guy — bar shift? ✔️ Kitchen shift? ✔️ Probably DIY if we asked nicely enough… although we wouldn’t push our luck!

Favourite drink: Asahi
Favourite dish: Steak sandwich — because why mess with a classic?

On his days off you’ll find him walking his golden retriever or tackling whatever DIY project his wife has decided is “absolutely essential” that week…

But given the choice, Tom would much rather be at home painting miniature figures and obsessing over his extensive trading card collection.

So next time you’re in, give Tom a wave — just don’t ask him what his favourite trading card is unless you’ve got the rest of the afternoon free!

🎉 BIRTHDAY WEEK 🎉

We officially turn 7 on the 18th September— but why celebrate for just one day when we can celebrate all week?! 🥳🍔

To mark the occasion, we’ll be serving up our special birthday burger menu from Tuesday 15th September until the 19th - running alongside our usual daily menu all week.

So come down, grab a burger, raise a glass and celebrate with us!

We also have the incredible Jay & Eli performing on Friday Night 7-9pm

Most importantly, we want to say a HUGE thank you to every single one of you who has visited, supported and shared the good times with us over the last 7 years.

We genuinely couldn’t have done it without you.

There’s a little chill in the air… but here at The Plough and Harrow, we’re not quite ready for full autumn just yet so to help ease you in to the colder months is our new menu.

First up there’s a new homemade classic joining the pudding line-up:

Cherry Bakewell Tart, with Kirsch cherries and Vanilla ice cream

A little taste of autumn, with just enough sweetness to ease us into the changing seasons.
