Happy Essex Day!

26th October we celebrate Essex Day. St Cedds Day.

From our beautiful countryside and stunning coastline to our rich maritime heritage, historic towns and villages, Essex has so much to be proud of.

At The Queen Victoria our chefs have been busy with some Essex favourites and also explored an old Essex recipe book.

Happy Essex Day to everyone across our wonderful county!

Congratulations to the Washington Asylum who have won second quiz on the trot! And have donated their £80 winnings to the South Essex wildlife Hospital that works really well in our area picking up foxes that are injured and other wildlife.

Would help if I had pressed post instead of saving in my drafts. Last months quiz winners were The Washington Asylum and donated their £84.00 winnings to the Air Ambulance. Fantastic result for a new team to the Vic.
