"So I’m driving down the road this morning and the cars in front of me are driving over a black thing in the road. It’s going between their tires so I’m guessing it’s a box. It’s a kitten just sitting upright shaking like a leaf. And some idiot had spread glue on its paws and stuck it to the road. I thought maybe it walked through glue somewhere but after looking at it, that was totally spread into her paws. She was wet and freezing and literally glued to the road. And NO ONE STOPPED. 😳 What the f$&k people??? I slammed on my brakes and stopped all the traffic and put my hazards on and got out and pealed her off the road. People were honking and all pissy....really??? It’s a kitten glued to the road!! So after a goo gone bath and some food and cream we have a new kitten. Luckiest kitten in the world!"

Can't take him to the beach for a walk because he bothers you and messes with the vacation... I'm not allowed to rent a house if I have a dog, or I can't take him. However, I can take him to the rubble to find you after an earthquake. In the woods, after you get lost in the mountains and you had neither map nor GPS. Under the snow, because you made a detour off track. In the water because you went out despite the red flag. Now you're in the sea and your life is in danger. They are our eyes when we can’t see; they alert us when we are about to have a cardiac event or a seizure. They provide comfort in our darkest times. They serve and protect us, go to war for us. They support us when we need them.

I'm told it's just a dog, but guess what, in all those scenarios you rely on them. They're your lifeline, and they will find you. They will save you!!!

To all our Facebook friends and customers we're sorry to tell you all we will be leaving the Queen Vic at the end of march. Not all sad though as we are doing a short move to a bigger and better pub in Chelmsford 🍻 we'll keep you posted and thank you for your continued support. 🥰
