Halloween is almost upon us and with it comes the final curtain for Talland’s Halloween Afternoon Tea 🎃

If you haven’t managed to sink your teeth into White Chocolate and Orange Scones, to devilishly devour Witch’s Fingers, Mummy Financiers and Cherry Ghost Macaroons, and to reluctantly share a Pumpkin Cheesecake, there’s still time before it vanishes into thin air for another year.

It’s still blowing a hoolie outside and nobody is venturing far tonight. Dinner is on its way up, the cards are dealt, the w**e is poured, the bath’s nearly full and crosswords are finally nearing completion.

Some plans don’t need good weather. In fact, some are better without it.

Christmas at Talland is very nearly a full house! 🎄

Three days of very good food, generous pours, questionable answers to our infamous Christmas Day quiz, and absolutely no washing up. But there’s still room for two more at our table.

The Rigby is our very last available room for the three-night festive stay.

The leaves are turning, the sea is getting moodier and Glen is cooking with his favourite season.

Autumn has arrived, bringing with it a new lunch menu: short rib bourguignon, line-caught sea bass, pumpkin ravioli with brown butter and crispy sage, and red w**e poached plums with mascarpone to finish. Proper autumn food, with the best autumn ingredients from Cornwall’s finest farmers, growers and makers.

Choose two courses for £30 or embrace the season of hearty indulgence with three courses for £35. It’s available Monday to Saturday, from 12–2:30pm, and we wholly encourage making an afternoon of it.
