This is going viral! I signed at 17k signatures Monday, its now just short of 70k; it needs 100k for consideration of debate in Parliament.
Everyone associated with the industry should be signing if they want more job security.
As well as anybody who doesn't want to lose their favourite , , ! We are closing at a rate of 2 per day right now due to unmanageable/unrealistic VAT costs (on top of Duty/Energy/Staff/Food costs)

As many of you know, our industry continues to face increasing costs and financial pressures. A new nationwide campaign, backed by leading hospitality figures including Tom Kerridge, is calling on the Government to reduce VAT for hospitality businesses from 20% to 10%, bringing the UK more in line with many European countries.
This could make a significant difference to pubs, bars, restaurants, cafés and hotels across the country, helping to protect jobs, support investment and safeguard the future of our industry.
