NEW 3AM VENUE LICENSE! 🚨This is not a drill! MASSIVE NEWS, we now have a 3am license Thursday to Saturday so you can party even longer at The Social every week! After 27 years this is properly huge for us, and we can’t wait to roll out new parties for you. Our first announcement, a new free party every Friday this summer…

LOCALISM is the straight up new night just round the corner and open for everyone. All roads lead to The Social between 11pm and 3am. You’ll find London’s greatest DJs every Friday night playing the best electronic party sounds for you and your friends in the basement and all the Social’s great residents upstairs in the bar.

A BIG WEEK!

This Saturday we embark out the front door and onto the asphalt of Little Portland St for our Solstice Street Party to enjoy a bit of sunshine, music, market stalls, amazing drinks and good company. Running from 12pm - 8pm on Saturday.

After 8pm we take to the basement for an no holds barred afters with .club (Jamie Reynolds + FC Kahuna), special guest and a whole host of other selectors to groove the night away to.

In other news, the CRISP WORLD CUP continues with the second round starting today!

We are also are super excited to announce that London band will be hosting ENGLAND v CROATIA on Wednesday with a live performance before the match and DJ set after to celebrate (or commiserate) - free entry!

The Social Crisp World Cup Draw results are in!

See the entire crisp lineup and group selections below. Each group will be available to buy as a tasting tray at the bar and compete for one week!

We kick off next week from Monday, doors open at 5pm. Get in early and enjoy some of the world’s greatest crisps (and beers!).

We’re opening up voting to everyone and anyone who wants to take part. If you can’t make it in, we encourage you to get hold of the crisps yourself and vote from the comfort of your sofa! (🔗 in bio)

This is a sad day for all at The Social. One of the pillars of the venue is leaving his place behind the bar after being the main dude for a decade.

started here as Assistant Manager in 2016, took over as General Manager a few years after and helped lead us through our Save the Social campaign, the Covid shutdown, the rebuild and relaunch of the place in 2021. He’s been at the heart of the bar’s story, the life and soul of it all. Quite simply one of the nicest blokes ever, his commitment to maintaining vibes at the Social are unmatched. Loved by his staff team and all the punters alike, Graeme is a huge part of what the Social means as a space now. When he joined he understood the mission, what the place stood for, and then through his leadership, style, thoughtfulness and commitment made it even better, always with music at its heart. He makes everyone feel welcome and comfortable, he’s unflappable, funny as f**k and just a joy to hang out with as a mate.

I know he is going to miss the place but not nearly as much as we’ll miss him. We wish him all the love and happiness and extending that to his lovely wife Emma and their newborn twin daughters too. Love you all. Graeme’s leaving do will be at the Social Street Party on Saturday 20 June, his final shift and 15 hour send off.

The search starts now for the next General Manager of The Social, big shoes to fill but we are excited for what the future brings. This is a chance for someone new to come in, bring their own unique energy to the venue, be part of the Social story and take us forward into next ten years Xx
