Our sexy wagyu is on the menu and it is the ultimate seasonal indulgence. It is incredibly rich and buttery, but it actually has this deep, earthy flavour profile that a lot of other wagyu completely misses out on. We treat this stuff with absolute respect in the kitchen, cooking it with total precision to bring out the best possible flavours while it is available in its absolute prime. Plus, it is raised right over in West Sussex, so you are getting a brilliant, locally sourced British finish. Come grab a seat and get stuck in before it is all gone.

£10 cocktails and an alfresco summer? Honestly, it doesn’t get much better. (our version of Happy Hour)

This weather is lush, but melting away on the pavement is NOT our vibe. L’apero which, let’s be real, is just a sexy French word we use for happy hour is our excuse for you to escape the heat and slip onto the terrace.
We’re pouring £10 signatures; Bloody Mary’s fueled by our brilliant pals at Brixton Spirits , our UNBEATABLE cucumber margaritas, a spicy watermelon mule, and a seriously elite negroni sour. We’ve got oodles more to offer if your looking for a bit of fizz or something a bit fruity, whatever you crave.

You know how this goes... start with a drink, order a few plates, and suddenly you’re staying for dinner.

Me after I said im full… luckily there’s always room for dessert!

The second stomach is a real thing, and it only opens for the classics that we know you can’t resist. purely based on New Zealand nostalgia we serve our legendary Banana Bread with whipped Hokey Pokey butter and a pavlova so rich even aussies won’t deny who had it first. For anyonr more interested in a “healthy choice” we’ve got the apple tartine which is practically a fruit salad and for the folk looking for a trendy dessert we’ve got the viral pistachio chocolate.. mousse.

Regardless of how many mains you cleared, there’s always room for a sweet finish.

Every Wednesday our classic steak frites is just £15! Because we’re generous (and a bit smug about how good it is), Wednesdays are Steak Frites Day with us.

Bavette steak (served medium rare - trust us, you want it that way) with Café de Paris butter, seventeen ingredients come together for one mind-blowing flavour explosion 💥 and of course, fries. An old world classic with a new wolr twist, Its a staple for a reason!
Our doors are open from sunrise to way past sunset : so there’s no wrong time for steak frites at The Laundry!

Just show up, grab a table, and tuck into the best value and best tasting steak frites in the whole of London. Consider your Wednesday plans sorted.

AN UN-BEET-ABLE CHOICE
Honestly, what is it that I actually love about these beetroot skewers?
We start with this incredibly raw, rugged and slightly intimidating root vegetable and then we compltely transform it, we dont play it safe. We aren’t interested in serving up some tasteless bland vegan option, instead we hit it with a heavy hand of cumin and a blend of species that will actually ACTUALLY wake your palate up for once. There’s something just so satisfying about how that earthy spice and the thin, crisp shave come together.
We’ll change your perspective on what plant-based food can actually be when it’s got a bit of edge, so we serve it all up over a fresh quinoa tabbouleh and a massive drizzle of goddess dressing.
Stop playing around with boring food and get to the Laundry, your tastebuds will thank you!

Hot espresso meeting cold vanilla gelato like they were always meant to collide on a terrace in June. In Italy, they call this affogato, literally, “drowned.”

It melts fast. You eat it faster. There’s no strategy here, just instinct and sunshine.

A little bitter, a little sweet, as messy as you like. Crafted with a bold shot of to give that rich, Italian (but roasted in Brixton by kiwis) depth to the sweet cream.

Our signature cocktail, the ... Cucumber Margarita!
A word of advice for those looking to get there five a day, you should try mixing it with tequila, obvs.
It is an alfresco summer at The Laundry which means endless flows of margaritas, more margaritas, and honestly even more margaritas after that. (Responsible drinking encouraged and non alc versions available)
