Another not to be missed takeover.

Below Stairs, open since 2017 by brothers Manachain and Jamie Monaghan. Their approach to drinks is making cocktails that can be understood without a PhD in booze-lingo, are sustainable, delicious and throw a bit of a curve ball at you.

They have featured on the UK Top 50 Cocktails Bars list every year since it’s inauguration and have also been shortlisted for Bar Team of The Year. They have won awards for their Sustainability Programme at the UK Top 50 Awards, Class Bar Awards and Oliver Awards.

With their ‘Sustainability Programme’ now fully in place, more recently they are taking their learnings on tour to inspire and guide other bars and bartenders towards more sustainable practices – as well as of course making some delicious beverages along the way.
