"We had lunch here after a beach walk with our three dogs. Menu looked great, small but lots of tempting choices.

We ordered the sea bass with peas and a duck breast with mash. Both meals were excellent. The duck was perfectly cooked, the vegetables had bite and were well-seasoned.

The sea bass with peas was exceptional. Again, the fish was perfectly cooked and seasoned, but the peas were fantastic. Peas, capers, pickled onions and a cream sauce with some booze to lift.

The chef and kitchen team were outstanding so big plaudits all round."

We really enjoyed the food at the memorial, as well as our evening meal. The room we stayed in was clean and comfortable.
