🚣‍♀️ WHAT A DAY! 🛶

Today at The White Swan Eardisland, we played host to Eardisland’s infamous Raft Race! 🤣💦 And honestly… what a riot it was! 🎉

We had SO many brilliant entries – some sleek, some… well, very creative let’s say 😂 – all battling it out on the water with proper competitive spirit! There were splashes, spills, near misses and plenty of laughter ringing out all afternoon! 💦🤪

Of course, no big day is complete without good grub and cold drinks – and we had loads of both! 🍔🍟🥤🍺 Delicious hot food, ice-cold refreshments and treats galore kept everyone fuelled up and happy 👌😋

Whether you were racing, cheering from the banks, or just here for the snacks… a FANTASTIC day was had by EVERYONE! 🥰 Thank you so much to everyone who came along, took part, helped out and made it such a special event. You’re all absolute legends! 🙌✨

🎉 THIS SUNDAY AT THE WHITE SWAN, EARDISLAND! 🎉

We’re mixing things up a little bit this weekend… 😮 Instead of our usual delicious Sunday roasts, we’ve got something extra special planned just for you! 🤩

We’ll be serving up tasty pork & stuffing baps from 1pm onwards – perfect for all the brave rafters and everyone coming along to cheer them on! 🥖🐷 Plus, we’ll have music playing all afternoon to keep the good vibes going 🎶🎵

🚤 HERE’S THE PLAN:
📍 Rafts gather right outside the pub from 2pm for judging… who will win best in show?! 🤔🏆
💨 Then the big race starts at 3pm – heading from The Ford in Broome Lane and finishing downstream at the village bridge! 🌊💦

Come down, grab some food, enjoy the atmosphere and cheer on all the teams taking part! It’s going to be such a fun day for everyone – don’t miss out! 🥳🙌
