A great time had by everybody at Amy’s hen party in Staffordshire yesterday.

These girls (and boy), had only just arrived at the beautiful Grange in Lower Loxley when they got full flow into a cocktail class to get their party started.

It was very close, but Helena and Jade were awarded ‘best cocktails makers’ after being fun from start to finish.

The rain can’t spoil our party! 😎🍹🍾

Despite a day of rain on Saturday, we put up the gazebo, and got the cocktails flowing for Nichola’s 50th birthday bash in Kenilworth.

Daiquiris, P**n Stars, Long Islands, Pina Coladas, Flamed Tiki Punch and Singapore Slings got this party going, and ready for their trip to Vegas to celebrate the big 5-0.

Thanks to Erin for organising a superb afternoon of entertainment for her fun loving Mum!

Yeeeeee-ha.

On Friday night ‘Wild Bob’ and ‘Ropin Jack’ delivered a rodeo themed cocktail class for Lisa’s hen party!

The ‘Strawberry Stampede’ got them going, ‘Spur Star Martinis really got them in the mood and they were then ready for ‘Sex on the Ranch’

Lee the Lion won’t be in the USA this summer but he was at The Belfry Hotel & Resort for a World Cup themed cocktail making competition yesterday!

Invited by Boparan Charitable Trust, non-golfers were asked to pick a team out of a hat and come up with a cocktail based on that country under the watchful guidance of our mixologists.

Low and behold the winners were…… England!!! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

To Infinity and Beyond!…..

On Saturday we hosted a Toy Story themed cocktail class and the fancy dress was absolutely on point!

‘Andy’ hosted the class that included Mr and Mrs Potato Head, Hamm, Big Baby and more fantastic characters.

Congratulations to ‘Brides to be’ Donna and Eira but more so to Lauren and Alex who who were crowned best cocktail makers!!!

No big events or weddings I told myself when setting up The Midland Mixo’s two years ago…..

Well, here we are doing weddings with 100 guests and absolutely smashing it out of the park in the middle of a heat wave!!

Thanks to David and Libby for their cracking work on the day, and to Emma and Tom for their wonderful review.

On Saturday night we did an ABBA themed cocktail class for Jade and her hens in Derbyshire.

The girls said Gimme Gimme Gimme some cocktails after midnight, so we sent them ‘Benny’ who’s showed them how to make some ‘Dancing Queens Daiquiris’, ‘Swedish Sours’ and ‘Mamma Mia Martinis’

Jade and her Grandma (a recently retired bartender it turns out) were crowned best cocktail queens of the evening, and as you know, the winner takes it all - a Midland Mixo’s top cocktail maker certificate!!

A wonderful cocktail class on Friday for the ‘Golf Widows’ of Leicestershire! ⛳️ 🍹 🍸

Lee was dressed as the golf pro giving the widows a lesson in golf themed cocktails.

They enjoyed ‘sex in the bunker’, ‘swing star martini’ and ‘fumble in the bramble bushes’ before Shelly and Steph were crowned ‘best golf widows / cocktail makers.

If your partners are away on a golf weekend, why not hire the Midland Mixo’s for some fun of your own?!
