💫 Ooh, we do love a good Spring Clean! 💫

Lots of things happening in preparation for food starting soon, including a little refresh of the space to keep the pub feeling nice and homely 🪴🕯️

We’ve set the fire so it looks pretty, but if that weather doesn’t sort itself out soon, we might have to light it at this rate! What happened to the scorcher of a weekend we were promised?!

We’re super excited that our new kitchen equipment is being installed as we speak, ready for us to serve you some quality, home-made dishes within the next couple of weeks 👨‍🍳

And Gluten-Free people, fear not, because we’ve invested in a separate fryer especially for you. So you won’t have to miss out on those comforting classics such as Fish & Chips and Tiger Prawns! 🐟🍤

Thank you so much for bearing with us whilst we lay the foundations, everyone. We appreciate your patience and support and we’ll update you with the next chapter of our journey very soon…

The sun’s back! Yippeeee! And it’s meant to be a scorcher of a weekend, too🌞

The fairies have been working their magic this morning, clearing the clutter in the back garden and getting it Summer Ready. Next up will be a jet wash, some colourful plants to fill those gorgeous planters and a refresh of all the chalkboards, so everyone knows what’s going on in the world! 🌺 We’ve even treated you to some new ashtrays. Oooh, fancy.

Later in the week we’ll be giving the front entrance a good spruce and tidy to match, and definitely getting those parasols out in case that sun gets a little bit too cheeky whilst you’re enjoying a cold one🍺

Don’t mind the Christmas hanging basket, we thought it was too pretty to leave out of the equation 🤣🤷‍♀️

Did you know we’re dog friendly, here at the Arabian Horse? Inside and out 🐶

We also have water bowls and treats at the ready, so please help yourselves and ask the team to refill the water if you don’t see a fresh bowl around! 🐾🦴

At present, we do allow dogs in all areas of the pub, but this may change ever so slightly when food service begins shortly. We adore dogs, but we also know that not everyone feels the same about dogs around food, so a small, non-dog friendly area is something we’re considering. We’ll keep you posted on any new developments.

In the meantime, after an incident yesterday involving a staff member heroically cleaning up after someone else’s doggo, we do politely ask that all dogs are supervised and kept on leads at all times, please. We know accidents happen but we’d really appreciate your help on keeping The Arabian as clean and inviting as possible for everyone to enjoy, including our wonderful team! 😉🙈😂

Quality control’s a tough gig, but someone’s gotta do it!

Here’s our resident bar man Alex Langsbury
doing a fabulous job of his very first ale clean this morning. Of course he had to sample the beers afterwards, just to be sure…😉

On the wickets this week, you’ll find:

✅ Timothy Taylor’s Landlord - A multi-award winning, iconic pale ale. The UK’s top-selling cask for a reason!

✅ Theakston’s Best Bitter - Smooth, creamy, full-bodied and an excellent session ale at 3.8%

✅ Ossett Brewery’s Blonde - An exceptionally refreshing blonde / golden session ale, brewed in West Yorkshire and ideal for beer garden weather. Good job we’ve got another one ready for next week! 🤞
