We have 54 staff members working for us. Although “staff” isn’t really the word for it, we’ve got the best people, more like family.

This year we say goodbye to a few who are leaving for uni, and who’ll be back before too long. Ben’s gone from KP, to out front, to one of the best bar staff we’ve had, and now steps in to read the quiz for me when I’m not here.

Dom and Josh are also leaving us to further their careers and education, and a new wave of team members are moving up into new positions while we bring in a few new faces from the bank of CVs handed in. We haven’t put a job advert out since 2021, we’re so lucky to have people waiting to work here.

*Super Trouper: A Proper Goodbye to Maria*

After nine years, Maria is leaving us to start a new job with the NHS, and while it’s a big loss for us, it’s brilliant news for her, and we couldn’t be prouder. She’s helped with events, been a huge part of Christmas, and given us some of our best laugh-out-loud moments as the star of our viral videos. Even when facing her own health challenges, she showed incredible strength, bounced straight back, and kept us all smiling.

Maria has become one of my closest friends and we’ll always stay in touch. Helen, Noah, Kyle, the rest of the team and I wish Maria all the luck in the world, and are so grateful for all the hard work she’s put in over the past nine years.

To send her off properly, we’ll be having a goodbye party on Saturday 19th at 8PM, with a tribute to her favourite group, ABBA. Maria will be there on the night, so come and join us to toast this exciting new chapter of her life.
