The New Jolly Boatman has recently undergone an extensive refurbishment incorporating the entire ground floor. Since the change of ownership in February 2016 we have introduced fresh new ideas and touches we hope customers old and new will enjoy. We are experienced operators with other hospitality businesses and a wealth of enthusiasm and expertise. All the team at The Jolly Boatman would like you

to come and see what's new and get to know them. Come and try our new menus. Enjoy our new Lunch and Light lunch menu designed for those of you who like to enjoy a quick light bite or for those of you that prefer a more leisurely three course selection.

Let us set the scene… it’s Bank Holiday weekend, the sun’s actually shown up, and where we’re from sun directly translates to pub garden☀️🍻

But why settle for just any pub garden when you could be sat right on the banks of the idyllic Oxford Canal? Boats drifting by, friendly waves from passing boaters, and your favourite people all in one place… not a bad way to spend a day, is it?

Only problem… you’re thirsty. 👀

We’ve got that sorted! Our brand new spritzers have landed! light, refreshing, dangerously easy to drink… go on, treat yourself. Actually, don’t stop at one… try them all and pick your favourite (for research purposes, obviously).
