Summers as a child were always spent in the garden and in the pool, or playing on the green out front!

Some of our best summer memories made on Highfield Road, with people we now get to see in the pub.

The sense of community back then (this picture must be approaching 25 years old!) is something that stands out in our memories and something we strive to support and continue to this day.

We couldn't bring you the fun, the company and the cold drinks without your support, and we love giving back to our community here at The Mikado Pheasant and the wider Highfield community too!

This weekend was amazing!

Thank you to everyone who joined us for what shaped up to be a sunny, hot and fun bank holiday!

Saturday we danced the night away with DJ Xanthe-Estelle and Sunday we joined DJ Disco Duck in an evening of Karaoke!

All while enjoying plenty of cold drinks and each others company!

The heat and the sunshine is still here, the drinks are still cold and we look forward to seeing you all again!
