🧡 EMPTY CHAIRS IS COMING TO THRAPSTON 🧡

Throughout the first week of June, I’ll be trialling the amazing Empty Chairs campaign alongside the fundraising work we’ve recently been doing for CALM — the Campaign Against Living Miserably — a charity providing life-saving su***de prevention services and mental health support.

So… what is Empty Chairs? 🪑

It’s a simple but powerful idea designed to help tackle loneliness and social isolation by creating a welcoming space where anyone can come and sit for a chat.

No pressure. No awkward expectations. No need to already know someone.

Just people connecting with people 🧡

Each day, we’ll reserve a small table at the pub and leave a few chairs empty — inviting anyone who fancies some company to pull up a seat.

Whether you: ✨ fancy a coffee and a chat ✨ are new to the area ✨ work remotely and miss human interaction ✨ have been feeling isolated lately ✨ want to meet new people ✨ or simply don’t want to sit alone…
…you are more than welcome.

Come for 5 minutes or stay for hours. Come alone or bring someone with you. There’s absolutely no judgement and no expectations.

Because sometimes the bravest thing we can do is pull up a chair 🧡

We’re taking on 14 miles across London for Campaign Against Living Miserably — starting in Bermondsey and somehow surviving all the way to Shepherd’s Bush!

Blisters? Probably.
Complaining? Definitely.
