Today is our birthday! 🥳 but are we celebrating 5 years or 40 years!?
I can’t believe it’s been 5 years since I first began refurbishing the pub and 4 years since I reopened The Bronte’s doors. So much has changed.
It all started with the big refurbishment in 2021. We reopened our doors in August 2022, followed by our brand-new beer garden in 2023. Since then, there’s been plenty of upkeep too, from fresh coats of paint to carpet shampooing. And this year in 2026, we proudly reopened our accommodation as Bronte Breaks
But it’s not just about the building. Over the last five years we’ve also built a winning football team, welcomed new staff members and made friends for life with so many of our customers. We’ve said goodbye to loved ones, welcomed new family members into the world and shared so many of life’s biggest moments together.
This year is extra special because it also marks 40 years of The Bronte being in my family. My grandparents bought The Bronte back in August 1986, my parents took over after them, and then I took over in 2021. Owning and running a successful family pub for 40 years is something we’re incredibly proud of.
Most importantly, we want to celebrate with all of you - all our friends, family and loyal customers!
