Manon’s inner turmoil and struggle for survival lie at the devastating heart of Kenneth MacMillan’s 1974 adaptation of Abbé Prévost’s novel. In this signature work of The Royal Ballet, MacMillan’s nuanced understanding of human psychology makes for an unflinching look into the moral degradation of Manon’s Paris, while all its decadence and decay are brought to life through Jules Massenet’s score and Nicholas Georgiadis’s designs.

🎉 Celebrating 25 years of Pauline! 🎉

Today we’re celebrating a very special milestone as our Senior Finance Officer, Pauline, marks an incredible 25 years of service with Ivybridge Town Council.

Over the past quarter of a century, Pauline has become a familiar face to so many people in Ivybridge and a much-loved and valued member of the Council team.

Twenty-five years brings with it an enormous amount of knowledge, experience and, most importantly, memories. Pauline’s dedication to the Council and our community throughout that time is something we’re incredibly grateful for.

Her colleagues have been busy sharing some of their favourite memories and messages to mark the occasion – along with a few suitably royal touches for one of the Royal Family’s biggest fans!

Please join us in congratulating Pauline on this fantastic achievement and thanking her for 25 wonderful years of service to Ivybridge.
