We’re delighted to unveil our new Kemnay Members logo!

Featuring a stylised "K" alongside the iconic silhouette of Bennachie, the design creates a modern identity that is proudly local and instantly recognisable. While our traditional club crest remains our official emblem, this new logo has been created for member apparel, accessories and future club initiatives.

Designed to celebrate both our club and the landscape that surrounds us, we hope it’s a logo that members will wear with pride both on and off the course.

We look forward to sharing some exciting new merchandise and member products featuring the logo in the coming weeks. ⛳

🏆 CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP WEEKEND 🏆

The action continues this weekend as our Club Championship reaches the halfway stage, with competitors taking to the course for the 2nd Round on Saturday and the 3rd Round on Sunday.

With favourable weather forecast for both days, conditions look set for another fantastic weekend of golf as players battle to put themselves in contention ahead of the final round next weekend.

We're hosting our Ladies Team Match against Aboyne on Sunday. We wish both teams the very best of luck and look forward to some great golf.

Whether you're competing, supporting, or simply enjoying the course and clubhouse, we look forward to welcoming you to Kemnay Golf Club this weekend.

⛳🎉 A Career First for Brian Cheyne! 🎉⛳

Congratulations to Brian Cheyne, who recorded his very first hole-in-one during Round 2 of the Senior Gents Championship today!

Brian achieved the ace at the 10th hole, with playing partners Allan Mitchell and Marty Begg (who also captured the moment on camera) there to witness the achievement.

In true golfing spirit, Brian has kindly donated a bottle of Glen Garioch whisky, which is now behind the bar to help members toast his success.

🏌️‍♂️⭐ Kemnay's Learn to Golf Kids Shine in the Scottish Golf Skills Challenge! ⭐🏌️‍♀️

The Scottish Golf Skills Challenge tests juniors on key golfing skills including driving, chipping, pitching and putting, and our youngsters have produced some fantastic results.

7–9 Years
🏅 Finlay McKay – 285 points (1st)
🏅 Reece Thompson – 220 points (6th)

10–12 Years
🥈 Harris McGee – 285 points (2nd)
🏅 Adam Herd – 265 points (4th)
🏅 Zak Herd – 255 points (5th)

13–15 Years
🏅 Finn Muldoon – 330 points (2nd)
🏅 Noah McGillivray – 220 points (6th)

An incredible achievement with 7 of our Kemnay juniors currently in the Top 10 across their age groups.

A huge well done to all our Learn to Golf kids for their hard work and enthusiasm, and a big thank you to our coaches and volunteers whose dedication helps make these successes possible.

Well done to Michelle Finnie and Lynne Tough for flying the Kemnay flag at the inaugural Links Championship, hosted by Northern Golf Club at the Kings Links this weekend.

A fantastic achievement, with Michelle Finnie taking 1st place in Division 1 and Lynne Tough securing 2nd place.

🏌️‍♂️ Team News Update 🏌️‍♂️

Congratulations to the Kemnay Gents Team (sponsored by Grampian Continental Ltd) who have progressed to the 3rd Round of the Abercrombie Cup following an impressive victory over Cullen Golf Club.

The team produced a superb performance away from home to secure a 5.5–2.5 advantage in the first leg before returning to Kemnay and completing the job in style with a convincing 6.5–1.5 victory on home turf.

The overall result sees Kemnay progress comfortably to the next round, where they will face either Moray Golf Club or Turriff Golf Club.

Well done to all players involved for a fantastic team effort. 💙⛳

What a difference a week makes!

The recent spell of warm, dry weather has transformed the course and brought it back to where we want it to be heading into the main golfing season. It's hard to believe that only a few weeks ago we were dealing with extremely wet conditions, and now we've been watering greens and tees for the last three days to maintain surface quality and presentation.

The warmer temperatures have encouraged growth, improved playing conditions, and helped the course recover brilliantly from the challenging spring weather we've experienced.

Of course, as is often the case in Scotland, the forecast is already changing! Next week looks set to bring some much-needed "natural irrigation" 🌧️, which should help keep everything healthy while taking a little pressure off the irrigation system.
