A massive welcome back to our Bletheren!

Hopefully you had a great summer of holidays, sunshine and the odd wh**ky pilgrimage or two.

Well all that serious stuff stops now, because we are back for another season of Blethering to the great and the good of the wh**ky world, and we are delighted to welcome Fraser Morrison, of the Inchdairnie Distillery to be our guest this week.

Fraser joined the team in mid-June as International Sales Executive, bringing over three years of experience in the wh**ky industry. His journey began while studying marketing in Glasgow, where he worked as a bartender and developed a passion for wh**ky. He later joined The Glenlivet as a tour guide and was luck enough to be part of the distillery’s 200th anniversary celebrations.

Before joining InchDairnie, Fraser spent 20 months living in India as Chivas Brothers’ Wh**ky Brand Ambassador, gaining first-hand experience in the world’s largest wh**ky market by volume. Now back in Scotland, he is excited to be representing one of the country’s most innovative distilleries.

Outside of work, Fraser is a passionate foodie who loved exploring India’s diverse food culture. He is also a music lover, a classically trained violinist, and proud owner of a Border Collie named Sporran.

An Evening of Jazz (and more) with Smooth Grooves Thursday, 17th September, 7.30pm

After a hugely successful first Jazz session in August, we are delighted to confirm our second monthly evening has been confirmed.

Smooth Grooves features melodic instrumental guitar, drawing on smooth jazz, blues, soul, R&B and pop, with improvisation woven throughout.

Guitarist Dave Inkster brings an experience that will draw you in with familiarity before taking you off on a journey of the unknown with his imporovisation, ensuring an evening that will music lovers will adore.

Settle in, order a drink and enjoy two relaxed hours of smooth jazz in the heart of Inverurie. Alongside the live music, our bar team will be serving a specially created selection of jazz-inspired cocktails, as well as the usual Foghouse range of wh**ky, w**e, spirits and alcohol-free drinks.

Our lounge doors open at 7.30pm.
