If you’ve no plans, could you come along to the Poppy Concert at The Green Spire Church?
Ticket sales have been slow this year, and I’d love to see a good crowd turn out for our local Royal British Legion. The Long Eaton Silver Prize Band will be playing, there’ll be a chance to sing along, and it’s one of those evenings that feels better when the room is full of familiar faces.
I know money’s tight, but if you can spare the evening, please buy a ticket. Bring a mate, bring the family, or just come as you are. You’ll be very welcome.
