GEORGE SMITH | INJURY UPDATE

We’re calling on the Crusaders family to get behind one of our own. ⚪️⚫️

At just 27 years old, George Smith has been a loyal servant to Hungerford Town for the past seven years, making over 150 appearances for the club.

A popular figure amongst supporters, George has always given 100% every time he pulls on the shirt, showing incredible commitment and dedication to the club.

After battling injuries and working tirelessly towards a return to football, George has suffered another heartbreaking setback, tearing his meniscus and sustaining a slight tear to his ACL.

We’re now raising funds to help George get the operation he needs and give him the best possible chance of returning to the game he loves.

George has given so much to this football club over the years. Now it’s our turn to get behind him. ❤️

Any donation, no matter how small, would mean the world. If you’re unable to donate, simply sharing the fundraiser would be hugely appreciated.

🎗️ Please support George’s recovery through his GoFundMe page below.

Once a Crusader, always a Crusader. ⚔️
