Early start this morning... much needed cut back of overgrowing ivy and trees by the community orchard 😬
Filled a whole ton bag and left a pile on the orchard to remove later.
I know I'm new to Shat (sort of) and I'm not trying to step on anyone's toes it's just how I take my mind off... everything else.

I have been overwhelmed by the amount of people calling to see how the renovation work is going and the level of support...

I have been overwhelmed by the amount of people calling to see how the renovation work is going and the level of support I’ve received from some lovely Shat residents… I think I’m going to be busy.

However one of my neighbours has launched a campaign and persuaded residents to object to plans and it appears that he may have also supplied written objections for them (hence the reason I received 10 very similar objections over 2 days).

The public consultation date has now been extended from 22 July to 27 August although Kirklees did not inform me of this or why.

I have serious concerns that planning will be delayed so I again ask anyone that has not already supported my application for change of use to please do so following the below link:

Oh I was reported to building regulations too for building a public house without permission 😮
