Apparently women can multitask.........
Whilst creating the post for tonight's entertainment, replying to emails and collecting plates after a very busy Friday service i realised I put Saturday 21st for the entertainment this weekend!!!!!
Tonight is the night if you fancy a bit of reggae & old skool SKA , get yourself down to the Danglers and make a 'Monkey Man' of yourself on the dancefloor!!!

It might be dull and dreary outside but we have Brighton on the big screen today to help 'brighten up' your day! Why not head on down to danglers to cheer on our home team from the comfort of the club and finish the weekend off right. ⚽️

A Message from the Chairman - Andrew Gilbert

As Chairman, I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself a little further and share what drives me in this role. I care deeply about the future of Hove Deep Sea Anglers Club — not just as a venue, but as a community.

Over the past months, I’ve had the privilege of working closely with the staff, the committee, and many of you. What has stood out most is the passion people have for this club: the fishing, the friendships, the history, and the sense of belonging that makes this place special.

My focus is simple: to ensure the club is safe, welcoming, well-run, and always moving forward. The improvements we’ve made recently — from compliance upgrades to staffing support, from new food offerings to operational changes — are all part of building a stronger foundation for the future.

None of this happens alone. It’s the result of staff stepping up, members offering feedback, and a shared desire to make the club the best it can be. Thank you for your continued support, your patience through the busy summer, and your enthusiasm for everything we’re building together.

Sunday Funday is upon us and what a cracking day we've got planned for you! The Albion take on Chelsea at Stamford Bridge live on our big screen, delicious Pizzas served all day from 12-9pm and our very own 'Rock, Queens & 'Divas' tribute performed by Roz from 7pm.
The weather may have taken a turn for the worse but we are here to brighten up your Bank Holiday Weekend! So make the most of the last one now until dare I say it........ CHRISTMAS ☃️🎄🎁⚽️🍕🎤

What a bank Holiday we have got coming up for you....The weather might have taken a turn but we've got plenty to brighten up your weekend!We kick off with Fish & Chip Friday, Saturday see's the return of Family Funday from 12-4 followed by some nostalgic 80's tunes from 'Kayla & The Cards starting at 7.30pm.Sunday is jam packed with fhe footie season well under way and then we slip into the evening with 'Rock Queens &Divas '.
Serving up our artisan pizzas all weekend for your enjoyment, so theres sonething for everyone, young, old and 'inbetween' 😉..Hope to see you all at the bar or on the dancefloor!!!

We are pleased to announce that the club now has a dedicated Administrator. You may have seen Brendan around over the past three months, working closely with Lianne and reporting to her in a supporting role.

Brendan will oversee the club’s day-to-day administration, helping to maintain strong financial controls and secure working practices. His responsibilities will include supporting membership administration, maintaining accurate records, coordinating routine financial processes, and helping to safeguard the club’s financial resources.

Please join us in welcoming Brendan to the team. He has been a club member for the past two years, and we are confident that his experience and attention to detail will make him a valuable addition to the club.
