Just back from the Cambridge Rock Festival...yet again, a brilliant event! A chance to see some old faves like Brave Rival (Lindsey even grew some Angel wings...you had to be there 😂) and some new bands...and OMG!

You know when you see a band and their talent just blows your socks off from the opening song? Well my foot gloves were last seen entering Heathrow airspace! I reckon this band will be going places. Buy me a pint sometime & may divulge the name. But in the meantime, I'll try to book them into the Echo Hotel so you can lose your cotton booties too...

Revenant consists of 'Sugarman' Sam Lay (vocals, guitar), Matthew Hudson (guitar), Robin Nutley (bass), and Carl Donoghue (drums).

The band are making waves on the live circuit having wowed at shows and festivals alike including Maid of Stone and Firevolt. Their incendiary performance is reflected in their live album release ‘What A Time To Be Live’ with Backseat Mafia stating “One of the best guitar releases of the year” and Powerplay Magazine enthusing “One of most refreshing and exciting sounds around”.

The Dusk Brothers (Gray and 'E' Moncrieff)... provide a raw, bluesy backdrop for growling vocal harmonies and blues harp.

The second gig in the Echo Hotel Music Club (EHMC) 2026 program will see a change of genre from Soul to Classic Rock, as The Karma Effect will be rocking the Elizabeth Hall stage with support act Cry for Mercy .

Last time The Karma Effect came to EHMC (back in November 2022) with co-headliner Gorilla Riot, it was a sell out, so don’t miss your chance to get your ticket
