Friday 25th - Tribute to Dolly Parton and country music with Jenny Salmon Musician, dress up and get ready for a sing along.....8pm
Sunday 27th - 3's a crowd.. 4pm.... (new to the lion, met these guys in clacton and are unreal, dont miss out)

What a great month we have lined up for you.... all this as well as fish & chip nights, quiz night, Great roast dinners, best beer garden, VANPIZZA & Smokeshed Hoddesdon ....🍕🐔

Well where do we start with this one....what a day this was..absolutely not the musical mystery tour....a day we won't forget... the atmosphere was spot on from the off, And it showed just what a great community we are...
A big thanks to all musicians...
Anna Wells, Acoustic Haze, Hertford Shanty Folk, Ben & Vicki, Jenny Salmon Musician, Andy Bradshaw, Rob Bright, The Wayward Sons ....
Without you guy's this day just wouldnt happen.......every performance was brilliant and had everyone singing and dancing...a big thanks to everyone of you...🫶
Our sound guy Dave... a big thanks for being here all day and helping with each performance.. 👍
A special mention to Paul Barnett, Andrew Brookman & Andy Bradshaw who helped us out massively with the equipment 💙
Thanks to our staff, just didnt stop all day... Big appreciation for them... we count ourselves lucky to have such good staff around us. 💙
But the biggest thanks to all that came out and supported the lion & live music, the atmosphere you created will never be forgotten... from start to finish people we're up dancing, having fun and makimg new friends, which is exactly what this pub is all about....
We're very lucky to live in such a great community of fantastic musicians and people...
