Waiting is the hardest part. During the time between races, the car may receive small updates, new parts, or simply a clean and check over, but the team never stands still.

Seen here without the front suspension fitted, some small updates to improve strength in the front wishbones are near completion.

We had a great result this weekend at with , managing a class win and 6th overall! Our team has worked tirelessly over the winter to develop the car, concentrating on some small aero improvements. Now the car feels balanced, and can really be driven fast!

Huge thanks to our partners at with their support when building the engines, and to with the never ending list of all the small service parts.

I'd also like to thank the unknown photographer for the fantastic image on the page.

Although the next race isn't until this coming weekend, our preparation for the event takes weeks. This morning I have programmed our team radios with their frequencies for this event.

A long tiring day today, testing at Donnington. Weather stayed ok until late afternoon, at which point we decided to call it a day.

Some revised geometry, bigger front tyres and some new aero details gave us something to toy with.

Preparation for next week's test includes bleeding the brakes using the ABS. It's a fantastic, though noisy tool.

Remember our D2 car? We built the car for the AT fuels category at the Nurburgring, and had a fantastic time with it. It was our second diesel car, it was built with all of the knowledge we gained and with a eye on weight saving as well as reliability.

With the 2019 rules outlawing diesel cars at the 'ring, the car went to who has for the last couple of seasons campaigned in a local series on the other side of the globe in NZ.

This year they have had a particularly strong season, with a fantastic championship win.

It's a car that we all have fond memories of, it is a strong car, easy to drive, easy to maintain, and has a certain character that it shares with the V10. Awesome memories of changing baking hot brake pads 18 hours into a 24hr race, in only a few seconds, which had a devastating effect on the morale of the opposition...

It occured to me whilst we were loading the car onto the truck today, that it is a pretty special vehicle. The body shell is about as low to the ground as we dare, but the driving position is fairly tall when you glance in to the cabin. This allows us to run a fixed seat and steering wheel position, but run the entire pedal and pedal box assembly on runners to give a huge scope of adjustment.

If you look carefully at the gearbox tunnel you can see the paint pen markings of various drivers preferred reach locations, the setting can be changed in seconds, accurately. This is the kind of detail that make a huge difference in races where driver changes are required.

Also, the driver's door is missing, this is simply because it's easier to load and unload the car if you're not trying to squeeze out of the driver's seat.
