We have been to Hereford many times and don’t know why we have never visited this pub before. We will definitely be going back. The staff are really friendly and dogs are made really welcome. The food is absolutely fantastic home-cooked proper pub grub and the portions are huge. Over 2 visits we had the gammon and curry because they had run out of the much raved about steak and ale pie. Both were lovey and massive portions. The next day we reserved a pie each and honestly only needed one between us! The staff packed up the rest which we took home with us. It was genuinely the nicest pie we have ever had! Looking forward to our next visit.
