It is a family friendly social club offering many facilities including function room for hire, pool and snooker room, darts, crown green bowling and Live big screen sports action. An annual membership is available for anyone wanting to benefit from the use of free use of our Pool tables, Snooker tables and darts facilities, members also benefit from a discounted bar rate. Everyone is welcome at Sunnybank, non members wishing to use the clubs facilities are requested to pay a £2 daily charge for use of the Pool, Bowling green and Snooker facilities. In addition to the above the Sunnybank has a function room for hire at a very reasonable rates especially if your a member, please enquire for more details. Sunnybank shows all big screen sporting action in HD (Sky Sports, ESPN) this includes all the biggest games in the SPL, Premier league and Championship. Anyone wishing to join any of our many sports teams should contact our team captains through the club. We have numerous Bowling, Snooker, Pool Darts teams and a Sunday league Football team who are always looking for extra players. Gordon Nicholass, long time member at the Sunnybank, sadly passed away on 12th August, aged 85.

The much-loved husband of Freda, loving Dad to Mick, Cazie, Jacqui & Claire, their partners Peter, Jim & Sheryl, much loved grandad to Ashley, Kurtis, Dominic and Ben. He leaves his sister June & his niece & nephew Keith & Emma.

He was a life-long motorcycle enthusiast and well known for his engineering skills.

He was always there to do anything for anyone. Family friends, even strangers, you name it.

Mr Fix-it, Jack of all trades.

We will miss him dearly.

Gordon’s funeral will be held at Accrington Crematorium on Tuesday 15th September at 11.40am.

Everyone is welcome to join the family for drinks to celebrate Gordon’s life at the Sunnybank Social Club, Helmshore Road, Helmshore, Rossendale BB4 4LQ.

Donations in his memory are welcomed for the RNLI & the Air Ambulance

A polite message to lady who rang the club last night threatening us with the police for loud music 🎶 Please have the right venue before complaining.
The music was actually coming from a party at the Cotton House which I can confirm as I live in Aldenbrook apartments and was on my balcony.
