🍽️ We’re getting behind the campaign to reduce VAT on hospitality!
The UK hospitality industry is struggling. Rising wages, energy bills, food costs and other expenses are putting enormous pressure on pubs, restaurants, cafés and hotels, with businesses closing their doors every week.
That’s why we’re getting behind the petition to reduce VAT on hospitality from 20% to 10% — bringing us more in line with much of Europe and giving hospitality businesses a better chance to survive, invest and protect jobs.
Reports suggest that around 21 hospitality businesses are closing every week in the UK. Behind every closure are jobs lost, communities affected and local businesses disappearing from our high streets.💔
