The Anchor is currently closed as we transform this much-loved village pub into a beautiful Butcombe Boutique Inn, reopening on Tuesday 24th November.

We're giving you a sneak peek into the inspiration behind the redesign. Expect cosy pub spaces rich in character, a bright new restaurant inspired by the countryside and boutique bedrooms designed for the perfect countryside escape.

The Anchor you know and love is still at the heart of it all, with a fresh new look that celebrates its history while creating somewhere special to drink, dine, stay and unwind.

🍁 Autumn has well and truly arrived in Haslemere; the woods around The Mill are turning amber and gold, there’s a crisp chill in the air, and the River Wey is wrapped in morning mist.

It’s the season for long walks and longer lunches!

Our Autumn menu launches this Thursday from lunchtime.
Expect hearty, seasonal plates made for cosy afternoons by the fire and evenings that call for one more drink.
