Two years of The Bubble & Bottle ❤️

A little look back at our second birthday celebrations last weekend, brilliantly captured by the amazing Clayton Captures

What a crazy ride these last two years have been.

Through sheer grit, determination and probably a fair bit of stubbornness, we've stuck at it through some incredibly difficult nights.

We still remember standing at the window in the early days as the amazing Dean Palmer was getting ready to start his set, genuinely praying somebody would walk through the door. We had nobody in.

Thankfully, JP and Brit, our neighbours on the Marina and now good friends, emptied their own pub and brought their family down to support us.

We'll never forget that.

Then came the decision to open up the window, take the DJs outside and really go for it.

A massive financial risk and, looking back, something that probably shouldn't have worked as many times as it did.

But we kept going.

We built, we learned, made mistakes, changed things, built some more and learned some more.

And somewhere along the way, we've created something that means far more to us than just running a bar.

The team and family we've built here is something we'll never take for granted. Neither are the people who continue to turn up and support what we're trying to do.

It's not always been easy, and it still isn't. There are plenty of tough nights behind the scenes that people never see, but we've never expected any of this to be easy.

We're already putting together our 2027 event plans, and we genuinely can't wait to share them.

In fact, we're even looking at putting on another big event before Christmas. Another financial gamble, especially at this time of year, but for those of you who keep showing up, it's worth it.

Thank you to everyone who's been part of these first two years. Our staff, our families, the DJs, our friends and every single person who's walked through our doors.

And a special thank you to Clayton Captures for capturing our second birthday celebrations so brilliantly.

Here's to year 3. ❤️
