💔 ABSOLUTELY GUTTED – SHOW CANCELLED! 💔
It is with huge disappointment that we have made the difficult decision to CANCEL Friday’s COUNTRY ROCKS vs ICONS show with Alexandra Crellin due to extremely poor ticket sales.
What makes this particularly disappointing is that we received so many requests to bring Alexandra back, with people regularly asking when she would be returning. Yet, sadly, only a handful of tickets have been sold.
🎤 Guys, we really do need your support!
We work incredibly hard behind the scenes to bring fantastic, quality live entertainment to Ye Olde Durhams. But the reality is that these shows come at a considerable cost, and without the support of our members and customers, we simply cannot afford to put them on.
Cancelling a show is something we absolutely hate doing. It’s unfair on the talented artists who commit their time to us, it’s disappointing for those who have bought tickets, and it has a financial and reputational impact on the Club.
❤️ We WANT this Club to thrive. We WANT to bring you bigger and better entertainment. But we cannot do it alone.
We aren’t asking everyone to attend every event, but when you ask us to book particular artists and shows, we really do need you to get behind them.
The bottom line is simple: If quality live entertainment isn’t supported, we simply won’t be able to keep booking it.
We’re not posting this to criticise anyone. We’re sharing the reality of what it takes to keep live entertainment going at a community club.
We have so many exciting plans for the future, and we desperately want them to succeed.
🙏 Please support your Club, support live entertainment and help us keep bringing you the very best.
Thank you to everyone who continues to support us. It really does mean the world. ❤️
For those of you who did buy tickets please return them for a full refund.
