Just to let you know, people have been asking if we have closed. We haven't.
Unfortunately our ovens finally failed and we were unable to serve food for the last 9 days, just drinks only.
However, from this Friday (and in time for a sunny bank holiday weekend) our homemade food will be ready and available for all!! 😀

Many apologies if you were trying to get through to us by telephone today. Unfortunately our Internet and phone line has been down since Friday night! With great help to us, the Internet engineers don't work on a Sunday, after it taking them a day to diagnose the problem at their end.
We're trusting that hospitals etc don't use these guys.
All should be back to normal on Tuesday. You can still contact us via the website.

At The Travellers Rest, Crimple Lane, Harrogate.
We are looking to recruit an assistant to our head chef.

Requirements:
* Hygiene Certification
* Commercial Kitchen Experience
*SFBB knowledge & competence with able compliance is ideal (although ongoing training with our head chef is provided).

You will be:
*Available to work up to 40 hours per week, including weekends and some weekdays (seasonally variable).

*AVAILABILITY - position available for immediate start.

We are also looking to recruit a KP (kitchen porter) to assist our chefs with general duties and pot washing. Training will be given.
