A fantastic day at the Captain’s Charity Day for Martin House Children’s Hospice, hosted by Oakdale Golf Club captain Mark Woolley.

We were privileged to hear an inspiring and heartfelt talk from Sir Gareth Southgate, who shared moving stories of the families supported by Martin House and spoke passionately about the importance of the charity’s work. An incredible amount was raised for a truly special cause.

We were proud to enter a William & Victoria team consisting of David Straker (who managed to beat the pro on the 9th hole ⛳), Charlie Straker (celebrating receiving his 2:1 BSc (Hons) Real Estate degree today 🎉), Dave Sayers and Alex Bussey.

A wonderful day of golf, fundraising and community spirit in support of an exceptional Yorkshire charity. Well done to everyone involved. 👏💙

Team W&V was made up of David Straker, Henry Straker, Captain of Oakdale Mark Woolley, and Vice Captain Graham Fenwick. A brilliant team performance finishing 11 under par. 👏

A fantastic auction dinner run by Simon Cotton and team rounded off the day, with some big hitters helping raise an incredible £12,000+ for and 💜🩷🙌
