When you realise the pub cat gets more attention than the beer-
the regulars stop mid‑sip, the conversations pause, and suddenly every eye in the room is on the furry VIP demanding his daily round of admiration.
At The Red Lion, some customers come for the pints… but everyone stays for the cat.

It starts the same way every afternoon — pints poured, chatter rising, football on in the background… and then he walks in.
The pub cat.
Instant silence. Instant audience. Instant betrayal for every untouched beer on the bar.
Within seconds he’s holding court: strutting past the regulars, inspecting tables like a health inspector with fur, and giving the kind of judgy stare that makes grown adults apologise for existing.
