This week’s ales!

- OFFA Pale (Three Legs Brewing Company) 4.5%
From microbrewery Three Legs, this uses all local ingredients to make a delicious hoppy Sussex pale ale. Thirst quenching due to its subtle fruitiness and smooth bitterness, perfect for enjoying outside in the sun. (Vegan)

- Milk Stout (Bristol Beer Factory) 4.5%
Smooth chocolatey sweetness and balancing coffee bitterness with hints of dark fruits. This award winning national champion stout is a beautifully creamy, full-bodied stout. Trust us, this is extremely drinkable!

- The Ordinary Bitter (Anspach & Hobday) 3.4%
Our first cask ale from Anspach & Hobday who also brew our very popular London Black, this is a sessionable and smooth bitter, brought up to date with US Chinook hops. (Vegan)

- Here Comes Summer (Mighty Oak) 3.9%
Optimistically named, a lovely bright golden ale with floral, citrus and grapefruit aromas, perfect to enjoy on our outside seating. Bring a jacket.

- Independence (Bristol Beer Factory) 4.6%�***CAMRA Champion Beer of Britain 2026***
“A pale strong beer. Strong enticing citrus nose, with piney hops. Caramelised citrus, tangerines, grapefruit and digestive biscuits lead to dry peppery bittersweet finish, which lingers. Refreshing full flavoured, fruity and smooth.”

- Black Prince (Bexley Brewery) 4.6% (Vegan)
Creamy black porter with treacle on the nose with hints of dark roast, cedar and fruit. Flavour has dark mocha, damsons, citrus and toffee. Finish is dry with a little damson. The malts used are brown, chocolate, black and crystal.

- Project Babylon Pale (Gun Brewery) 4.6%
A zesty American Pale Ale, hoppy and hazy. Tropical and citrus notes with plenty of awards under its belt, gluten free and suitable for vegans too

- River Breeze (Mighty Oak) 4.2%
Appropriately named for the weather, smooth golden ale seasonal special from Mighty Oak over in Maldon. Bright and breezy but with a nice bitterness at the end

- Ernie’s Milk Stout (Settle Brewery) 4.5%
Our first milk stout, all the way from the Yorkshire Dales. Rich and full bodied with notes of chocolate and coffee, goes down a treat!

To celebrate “Mild In May” we have Present, from Thornbridge. A classic smooth malty mild with a subtle hint of coffee

- Gorgeous George (Mighty Oak) 4.2%
Mighty Oak’s delicious copper best bitter is a classic for a reason and very drinkable indeed!

A lovely classic golden ale, mellow, slightly floral and perfectly balanced. (Vegan)

- Gatekeeper (Buxton) 4.1%
Deep, flavourful porter that’s robust but not overpowering. Proving to be very moreish! (Vegan)

A Dry Irish Stout that’s going down a treat. Smooth with lots of depth and a slight smokiness.

- Five Inch Drop (New River) (Vegan) 4.6%
Lovely punchy, triple hopped IPA perfect for the (hopefully) warmer weather!

- JHB (Oakham) 3.8%
Golden, citrussy bitter and one of the first beers brewed by Oakham 30 years ago. Gold medal winner at the 2025 CAMRA East Anglia/ East Central Area, Champion Beer of Britain Awards, Session Pale, Blond and Golden Ales category.

- No Name (Wharf) 4.3%
Malty roasted flavours giving way to a surprisingly hoppy best bitter, from Wharf in Colchester
