Team Leader Role

About the Role

We’re looking for a confident, friendly and reliable Team Leader to join our team at the Upper George, a busy drinks-only pub.

As Team Leader, you’ll help lead the team during shifts, making sure our customers receive excellent service while maintaining a fun, welcoming and well-run pub environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead and support the team during busy shifts.
* Provide friendly, professional customer service.
* Make sure the bar is clean, organised and fully stocked.
* Oversee opening and closing procedures.
* Handle customer queries and resolve issues professionally.
* Support the management team with the smooth running of the pub.
* Help train and motivate team members.
* Keep standards of cleanliness, presentation and service consistently high.
* Assist with cash handling and end-of-shift procedures.

About You

We’re looking for someone who:

* Has previous experience in a pub, bar or hospitality environment.
* Has experience supervising or leading a team, or is ready to take the next step in their career.
* Is confident, approachable and able to lead by example.
* Can stay calm and organised during busy periods.
* Has excellent customer service skills.
* Is reliable, hardworking and a great team player.
* Is flexible and happy to work evenings, weekends and busy periods.
